Group Bookings — Rush Chadstone
Every room runs at the same time, so a bigger group splits across rooms and races the clock together. Rush Chadstone has three rooms, so you can bring up to about 18 people and still finish around the same time. Book live below, or email us for a large group, party or corporate session.
How groups work
HackSaw: Remastered takes 2 to 6 players; Da Vinci Down Under and Mission:Possible take 2 to 4. All three run simultaneously, so groups split across rooms and go in together. Tell us your numbers and we will help you spread the group across the right rooms.

The arithmetic here is different from our other three venues
Everywhere else, three rooms means eighteen players. Not here. Two of the three rooms at Chadstone seat four rather than six, so the real ceiling for a single sitting is fourteen. It is the one venue where counting rooms gives you the wrong answer, and it is worth getting right before you invite anyone.
HackSaw: Remastered takes two to six. Da Vinci Down Under and Mission: Possible each take two to four. Six plus four plus four is fourteen, and all three run at the same time.
- Up to 10 Two rooms
- 11 to 14 All three rooms, the full venue
- More than 14 Two sittings, or a larger venue
If your number is fifteen or more and it has to be one sitting, South Yarra takes thirty-six and St Kilda takes twenty-four.
Two rooms rated five out of five, side by side
Da Vinci Down Under and Mission: Possible are our two hardest rooms. Not our two scariest, our two hardest. Neither has any fright element at all, both are open to all ages, and both are difficulty five out of five.
Running them against each other is the fairest head to head we can offer anywhere in the network. Two teams of four, matched capacity, matched difficulty, no advantage to whoever drew the easier room, because neither of them is easier. For a competitive work group or a family that takes these things too seriously, this is the best matched pair we have.
The third room, HackSaw: Remastered, is the opposite in every respect. Sixteen and over, at the top of the scare scale, and one of the two rooms in the network where the horror is visceral rather than atmospheric. All three sit on the published scare scale with a rating each.
That split has a planning consequence. A group with children in it has eight seats here, not fourteen, because the two puzzle rooms take all ages and the third does not.
The only venue where parking is not a problem
There is parking on the property, which none of our other three can offer. For a group coming from the south east, that removes the single most common cause of somebody arriving late and irritated.
We are at 53 Warrigal Road in Oakleigh, a short walk from Oakleigh Station. One warning worth passing to the group in advance: Warrigal Road is long and carries more than one number 53. Send the map pin, not the street address, or somebody will end up several kilometres away.
Pricing, with one local quirk
Crew Night, with a caveat specific to this venue. It applies across Monday to Friday, 4pm till late. A four to six player room is charged as a single unit, somewhere between $250 and $300, using the code CREWNIGHT. Because the two puzzle rooms cap at four, the five and six-player tiers only apply to HackSaw: Remastered.
Monday to Thursday, all day. Adults pay $50 each where 3 or more are in the room.
Weekends and public holidays. From $74 a player, and the four-cap rooms do not reach the six-player rung, so the per-head figure lands higher in those two than in a full room elsewhere.
Weekday daytime for work teams is priced by the room, on team building. Everything published sits on prices and deals.
Afterwards, under cover
Chadstone Shopping Centre is minutes away with its cinema and its food, which makes this the venue where a group can extend the day without going back outside. On a wet afternoon or a forty degree one, that is worth more than a dining strip.
Group questions
Why can we only fit fourteen when there are three rooms?
Because two of them are built for four players rather than six. It is a design decision about the rooms, not a restriction we apply, and it is why this venue plays better for small sharp groups than for large ones.
We want a proper competition between two teams.
Da Vinci Down Under against Mission: Possible, four a side, same start. Equal difficulty and equal capacity, so the result means something.
We have eight, including two twelve-year-olds.
Two teams of four across the puzzle rooms, which are both open to all ages and neither of which will frighten anybody. HackSaw: Remastered is out for that group.
Is this a good venue for a work team?
For a team of twelve to fourteen that wants a hard game, it is the best of the four. For thirty people it is the wrong one, and we would rather tell you now.
